Plot Summary

Newly minted Filipino featherweight world champion Mark Magsayo makes the first defense of his title against Mexico’s unbeaten former world champion Rey Vargas. Magsayo is coming off an upset victory over long-reigning world champion Gary Russell Jr. The main event clash features two of today’s best boxers from the boxing rich nations of Philippines and Mexico. Plus, former 122-pound world champ Brandon Figueroa makes his ring return against Carlos Castro from the Alamodome in San Antonio.
