Plot Summary

Agricultural technical school graduate Valya Didenko, having become a production leader and then a people's deputy, fell in love with her patron - the chairman of the collective farm. However, happiness was not destined to happen. Having deliberately violated long-outdated instructions, the chairman was accused of fraud and brought to trial.
