Plot Summary

A shoe shiner works hard to support his poor and suffering mother, whom his father has heartlessly abandoned. But one day, his father returns, remorseful but now wealthy, and re-enters their lives. Unfortunately, bad luck prevents the shoeshine boy from enjoying his happiness...
