Plot Summary

Two people meet in a sheltered housing environment. Klára, who has no genetic disability but has grown up in an autistic family her entire life. Adam, who is just below the threshold of mental retardation, is kind, guileless, and practical, and immediately fits into the group. She is shy, dependent, and no one except Adam talks to her. A relationship develops between them that begins to cause problems for both themselves and the other clients of the halfway house.
