Plot Summary

“Sino Philes” is a mockumentary microfilm web series and short film about Hong Kong and Mainland social conflicts. In an attempt to reconnect with their roots, a Chinese Canadian couple relocates to Hong Kong, China, and consequently becomes entangled in bizarre social conflicts between Hongkongers and Mainlanders that ultimately lead them to discover what it means to be "Chinese" and what the "Chinese dream" means to them. http://sinophiles.slatetakes.com/
