Plot Summary

Alvina, an English princess, flees the royal court with her beloved, Ursin, a foundling, to distant Bohemia. However, Ursin soon finds his estate on Angel Mountain too small, and the princess is no longer the only woman who interests him... When the English king discovers where his daughter is, he sets out with his army to conquer Angel Mountain. He wants to get back what is most precious to him, his daughter Alvina.
