Plot Summary

At 43, Inge Jung thinks she has it all. A great career in a multinational company, friends, unerring judgement and self-confidence. Until betrayal strikes and Inge loses everything she's loved about her life in one moment. She loses her job, her car and her apartment after an unexpected layoff, but it's only the first slap of fate that sets off a cruel roller coaster of knowledge. After exhausting all options, she decides to move to central Slovakia to an old inheritance house in a secluded area near a small town. In her new surroundings, she receives a kindly upbringing that melts her stony heart and hard head. In addition, an attractive neighbour, Martin, who has long since left a life as a graphic designer in London, enters her life...
