Plot Summary

After twenty years of radio silence, Vera receives a telegram from her father: she is to visit him in his castle. Once there, she learns that the old man has suffered a heart attack during the night. But this is just the beginning of a series of mysterious incidents that drive Vera to the brink of madness...
