Plot Summary

Thomas and Annette Winterhoff form a modern blended family with their two daughters from their first marriage. The birth of a child together should make their happiness perfect. But then Annette receives the devastating diagnosis: trisomy 18. While Thomas - himself a doctor - does not want to have the child because he does not want to expect his ten-year-old daughter Eva to lose her little sister, Annette feels that the child she wants is right in her body feels.
