Plot Summary

Rocker Nils Lofgren, onetime backup for Neil Young and Crazy Horse and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band but also an exceptionally gifted solo performer in his own right, headlines the concert film Nils Lofgren & Friends: Live Acoustic. The 'friends' of the title include musicians Mary Ann Redmond, Buck Brown, Tommy Lofgren, Mark Lofgren, Mike Lofgren, Paul Bell, Jeffrey 'Skunk' Baxter. The venue is the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia; on its stage, Lofgren and his fellow players perform eighteen numbers before a roaring crowd
