Plot Summary

Upon receiving news that his estranged father was critically ill, Yukio rushes to his family home, a guesthouse, with his wife, Mariko. Yukio's family has been driven to bankruptcy by Mariko's extravagant spending habits. Soon, his younger brother, Toru, and his wife arrive.
