Plot Summary

Based on the story of Pyatras Tsvirka "The Well". The story of how Matas Kryauza, a farmer, wanting to take over the farm of his father-in-law, who had deceived him with a dowry, buried Motskus's father alive by boarding up an old well, where Motskus drunkenly fell.
