Plot Summary

The polar regions have the most distinct seasons and the harshest living conditions. Even so, some of the most impressive and iconic species call this realm home. Due to their unique relationship with the Sun, the poles are, in fact, exceptionally productive. From fearsome polar bears to hyperactive lemmings, polar wildlife has adapted to thrive in these adverse conditions. And, more than any other realm, the polar regions are essential for the rest of the planet to have life-sustainable conditions. There are many facets to the Sun's polar realms.
