Plot Summary

"Misery" tells the story of Paul Sheldon, a famous writer known for his bestselling series featuring the character Misery Chastain. After suffering a serious car accident, Paul is rescued by nurse Annie Wilkes. The kind lady is also a voracious reader of his work and calls herself the author's biggest fan.
