Plot Summary

Anna Petrovna has been dealt a bad hand: having survived the civil war and the deaths of her husband and daughter, she is now faced with her granddaughter's indifference. After her ring, the only piece of jewelry she owns, turns out to be an expensive item, drama ensues.
