Plot Summary

While the world is in lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lore has to cope with a painful loss: her mother has died. Back in the small town of Erkelenz in North Rhine-Westphalia, she struggles against entrenched family structures and a paralyzing bureaucracy. Above all, she has to find a way to come to terms with the death and say goodbye to her mother.
