Plot Summary

Oslo' cemeteries are being presented, from the oldest that is kept in Ruinparken in the Old Town, to Our Savior's graveyard and many other burial mounds in the city center and outskirts of the city. Tombs of famous people from the history of the city and the nation are also shown. **** Oslofilm was a series of public information films about life in and around Oslo, produced between 1940 and 1980. Funded by the state, the films offer valuable insight into postwar Norwegian society. A wide range of Norwegian filmmakers contributed to the productions, resulting in a rich variety of styles and expressions.
