Plot Summary

Pandi is a dancer from Madurai who performs folk dances. He and his troupe go to towns around Madurai to perform folk dances. His maternal uncle, Dharmalingam, is a broker who books actors for performances. Dhanam, a native of the same town, decides to go and perform in Pandi's performances. But Dharmalingam opposes Dhanam from joining Pandi's troupe. This leads to a conflict between Pandi and Dharmalingam. e. What is Dhanam 's background?
