Plot Summary

Hagimoto Kinichi (Kin-chan), known as the "100% Viewer Rating Man," is a man who has made a brilliant contribution to the history of Japanese entertainment. This drama tells the story of Kin-chan and his wife, Sumiko (Sumi-chan). The couple got married in a dramatic way that shocked the world, and were blessed with three children, but the family they created was a little strange. "As a husband... he must be the worst," Kin-chan continued to think. "We've never had a birthday, a wedding anniversary, or even gone on a trip together..." As Kin-chan grew older, and after Sumi-chan passed away, he began to face the feelings she had for him for many years. This story of a clumsy but heartwarming love spanning half a century will be presented to you, interwoven with precious footage of Kin-chan stored in Nippon Television.
