Plot Summary

Seryozha is an unemployed alcoholic who sits on the neck of his stupid mother. The only emotion available to him is grief for his dead father. From his neighbor and drinking buddy, Seryozha learns about the possibility of hearing the voices of the dead in mineral water. But for this you need to make a sacrifice. Trying to talk to his dead father and unravel the family secret, he plunges into the abyss of madness and goes beyond what is permitted.
