Plot Summary

"Captain Scorpio," a freshwater captain, and Kirkor, a grocer from Smyrna, are the heirs of a mutual relative, a Greek merchant, who left them his entire colossal fortune in his will, but under certain conditions. Otherwise, the fortune would go to a charitable institution.
