Nicole's pregnancy test is conclusive: she is pregnant. At fifty-four, Nicole is anything but prepared for this discovery. Down-to-earth and pragmatic, not prone to despair or doubt, she usually strives to be the pillar of a family on which everyone ultimately depends.
