Trust is a funny thing. It seems like you always end up giving it to the people most likely take advantage of it. That's why private investigators stay so busy. When you get right down to it, people just don't trust each other. They can't. Because everyone has their price. For Ed Travis, private investigator, it two hundred bucks a day, plus expenses...
