Plot Summary

The wealthy mayor falls in love with a beautiful, flirtatious young girl, marries her in Cairo and visits her weekly. Samira lives with her father, the mayor, and falls in love with her cousin, Youssef. The wife falls in love with Mahmoud, Samira's music teacher, who visits the house regularly and spends the mayor's money on him. After the mayor falls easy prey to bankruptcy, his cheating wife leaves him, and his daughter tries to save him and uncover the truth.
