Plot Summary

Ambroise is an illustrator at the end of his rope. He lives a pittance with his paralyzed wife. One day, he discovers that he has a work of art that could earn him a lot of money. He soon loses his mind and disappears. His wife leads the investigation: is Ambroise dead?
