Plot Summary

Emily, eleven years old, detects that possums are detested and mistreated in her town, considering them repulsive and transmitting diseases. Finding one of them injured, Emily decides to heal her and protect her against all adversity and prejudice; during his feat he will wisely discover the benefits of the specie.
